(Infocast News) CHINA SOUTH AIR (01055) announced that in September 2024, passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometres) of the Group increased by 9.81% as compared with the same period last year, of which, the passenger capacity for domestic routes, regional routes and international routes increased by 0.05%, 33.96% and 52.16%, respectively, as compared with the same period last year. Compared with the same period last year, passenger traffic (measured by revenue passenger kilometres) increased by 19.29%, of which, passenger traffic for domestic routes, regional routes and international routes increased by 10.29%, 41.03% and 56.49%, respectively, as compared with the same period last year. The passenger load factor was 85.51%, representing an increase of 6.80 percentage points as compared with the same period last year, of which, the passenger load factor for domestic routes, regional routes and international routes increased by 7.98, 3.84 and 2.34 percentage points, respectively, as compared with the same period last year.

In terms of cargo operations, in September 2024, cargo capacity (measured by available tonne kilometers - Cargo and Mail) increased by 7.47% as compared with the same period last year. Cargo and mail traffic (measured by revenue tonne kilometres - Cargo and Mail) increased by 10.82% as compared with the same period last year. The cargo and mail load factor was 52.67%, representing an increase of 1.59 percentage points as compared with the same period last year. (WL)
