(Infocast News) AIR CHINA (00753) announced that In September 2024, the Group recorded a year-on-year increase in combined passenger traffic (measured by revenue passenger kilometers). Passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometers) recorded a year-onyear increase of 11.8%, passenger traffic recorded a year-on-year increase of 20.0%. Among which, for domestic routes, passenger capacity decreased by 0.1% year on year, and passenger traffic increased by 8.5% year on year. For international routes, passenger capacity increased by 55.4% as compared to the same period last year, and passenger traffic increased by 65.4% as compared to the same period last year. For regional routes, passenger capacity increased by 24.8% as compared to the same period last year, and passenger traffic recorded an increase of 28.3% year on year. The passenger load factor was 79.7% representing an increase of 5.5 percentage points as compared to the same period last year. Among which, the passenger load factor for domestic routes increased by 6.5 percentage points year on year, the passenger load factor for international routes increased by 4.5 percentage points as compared to the same period last year, and the passenger load factor for regional routes increased by 1.9 percentage points year on year. In terms of cargo operations, cargo capacity (measured by available freight tonne kilometers) increased by 15.8% year on year. Cargo and mail traffic (measured by revenue freight tonne kilometers) increased by 27.6% year on year. The cargo load factor was 38.4%, representing a year-on-year increase of 3.6 percentage points.
